Right now it's a Roleplaying game based around a server. It's called a PbP Play by Post, and it's similar to games like D&D, Pathfinder, etc. It's kind of gotten decently big and it's taking up a lot of my time but everyone's having fun!

How did you handle the sudden increase in members personally?

I've done that with one of my more professional websites as well. I used the images from my game to develop a custom skin that's really close to the xenforo base.

Articles are known to give great SEO and bring traffic, however a lot of times people tend to buy articles instead of creating them. Where do you all tend to go personally to buy articles?

I completely understand that. Unfortunately a lot of my articles are hidden behind a paywall so google doesn't even see them :ROFLMAO:but they're top quality and some have a lot of savings opportunities so it kind of evens everything out. I do need to get more articles made for free though.

Yeah, I'd recommend getting ranked first on google with some keywords that has decent traffic (1k - 10k) with low competition. That way you'll be able to get more people through google than anything. Nothing gains members faster than googling something and finding a place.

I'll get discouraged, especially after my main website I shut down had almost 40k members. However, I won't up and shut down a website without a cause or reason behind it. SEO takes time, and I'm willing to spend that money and time to ensure a successful forum/website.
