What domain extension do you use for your websites?

I am a huge .com fan and believe all websites should snag their brand in .com eventually. I know the ngtlds are out there however I just can't see me using them over a .com. However, I would use it temporarily until I get the .com.

I am a huge fan of one word .us cctld. I have a couple I would love to develop into blog or shop.

My last domain extension was .com. I'm looking over to using .net, or .xyz extension for my next blog domain extension.

I started out with a .us domain for my gamingforce website. From there when I renamed my site I managed to snag both its .com and .net domains.

My current forum uses .xyz as one of the Pokemon gens is titled X/Y/Z.
I do see the .xyz domain being used more frequently, I wonder what's driving it's popularity.

Xyz domain extension is beginning to gain the spotlight when it comes to popularity. I've been to many of them.
