    Forums are dying, but if you got the passion for them it can stand out and against the changing tides. Pokemon is very popular, so you got to figure out, on which ever platform you choose, to stand out among the rest.

    Always take the feedback, good or bad, it is the only way to shape your stuff and your site's image better for the future. Granted, don't give up everything, but if you use a bad image, then drop it and get a better one.

    I've used a bridge myself, It's nice to get the member's database onto the blog, but I've always had trouble with it.

    Damn, 1k in one day, never seen that happen in my 14 years of being on forums. I would say don't open a forum until it has some content. A blank forum is a waste of time.
